What type of questions are you looking for people to submit, and is it a 'sure thing' at this point as far as payment for submissions goes?

From: Olvoll McHenry What type of questions are you looking for people to submit, and is it a 'sure thing' at this point as far as payment for submissions goes? Each question will be generally related to one of eight categories: Pop/Culture, Science, Literature, Mathematics, History/Social Sciences, Arts, Current Events (Meaning the past 50 years or so), and Miscellaneous. Each question pair consists of a multiple choice question (4 possible answers) and a follow-up question relating IN SOME WAY to the multiple choice one. The follow-up is NOT multiple choice, however. Questions need to be fun and exciting, not just plain facts. Use Jeopardy questions as examples. And, yes. Payment is as described and set in stone. For full info about contributing to the Quizno Question pool, please email drtrmiller@gmail.com. Thank you.

I'm interested.
What kind of difficulty levels are we talking about here? For instance, would a question asking players to recognize RPN be easy, medium, or hard math?

What kind of difficulty levels are we talking about here? For instance, would a question asking players to recognize RPN be easy, medium, or hard math? Heh. Due to the fact that one person may find a question to be easy while another finds it to be hard, all you need to do is write the question as follows and we’ll decide the difficulty: CORRECT SYNTAX: (Colons separating) Category:Multi choice question:right answer:wrong answer:wrong answer:wrong answer:follow up question:follow up answer FOR EXAMPLE: It took a lot of "work" but Grover Cleveland finally signed a bill making this a National Holiday in 1894.:Labor Day:Mother’s Day:Thanksgiving:Christmas:Labor Day is observed on the first “Segunda-feira” each September, that is Portuguese for this day of the week:Monday Easy money folks Does anyone have any question about the game itself, though?

Maybe you could categorise the questions also American or International. So that there could also be some events hosted for non Americans.

From: Frans Charming Maybe you could categorise the questions also American or International. So that there could also be some events hosted for non Americans. In our 10,000 plus question database, we thought we included a fair mix between the two. However, the game must be an accurate reflection of SL's population, which consists primarily of North Americans. In the near future, we may possibly hire a small group of individuals to go through and make such an attempt at further classifying each of the questions as either North American or World knowledge. But then you run into problems of distinguishing between the two on matters such as pop culture, current events, and other subjective areas. If anyone has a specific way to bridge the gap between the North American and International relativity complex, we’d be more than obliged to implement an easy, functional method.

One of our primary objectives is to go beyond the gameplay…we want to create a game that not only provides players with a sense of control of their own destiny during the game, but also allows players to actually take ownership of the game itself and feel like they are actually an integral part of what my staff and I all hope to be called “the next ‘killer game’ in Second Life.” That’s something that we think a lot of people will be proud of. I can imagine playing Quizno, and all of the sudden, a voice shouts, “I wrote that question!!!” How cool is that?
