Looking for an organized RP with great players, a growing, immersive world, and free mandatory toast? Look no further!

Suffugium is a futuristic dystopic police state reminiscent of the novel 1984. The story is set in 2027 after a 15 year world war, known as the Great Conflict, that destroys most of the world as we know it. Suffugium now stands as the last bastion of human civilization.

The corporation known as Suffugium Technologies, or STech, has gained control of the city and set up a fascist form of government with Directors: Hiroshi Warren (CEO of the company), Hannibal Mercy (a war hero), and Arianna Cela at its head.

Because of the Director's iron clad hold on the city, a rebel group has formed to fight their tyranny and attempt to open the citizen's eyes to their injustice.

The RP plays in a free form style, with no combat system. We are still in development and new forms of interactivity are being planned. Our group does not own the sim that we operate in, but it is still a wonderful home to us.

Regular events and features include:
-a monthly movie night (next one coming soon)
-freedom broadcasts by our wonderful Nova Sakigake
-newspapers by both the government and the rebels
-plot points (click-able objects that give you evidence of a recent event to be pieced together to see the bigger picture)
-a web board used as government server space where IC files and information are stored, as well as for OOC announcements and getting to know each other

As well as large planned events meant to include everyone, the next of which will hopefully happen Jan 26-27.

There is an application process which includes reading some rather basic but long notecards involving story background and both group and sim rules. It is mainly meant to weed out people who might not play fairly.

For a link to our forums check out the homepage listed in my profile. The intro section includes the equivalent of our in-world notecard. Or for the actual notecard or any other questions please feel free to IM me!

What's "free mandatory toast" supposed to mean?

Toast, being toasted bread, is mandatory with every order in the Suffugium diner. Everyone likes toast. This is one way that Suffugium Technologies keeps it's residents well fed and happy!

Exactly as he said! It's really just a bit of OOC silliness, something the sim developers put up in the diner for fun and we incorporated it into our little world. I said it was immersive ;-)

Anyways, I should mention that if nothing else, even if our game doesn't sound like your bit, you chould check out the sim of Suffugium, it's a really nice build.

It's a really cool sim - congratulations on the design. I remember just having a wander round a while back. Also it had some great music playing at that time. Most SL music sucks because it's not in the mood of the actual sim. You get a gothic castle sim with cheery bop music playing ... so I turn it off at once. Suffugium was an honorable exception.
