Introducing the Global Online Hockey Association (formerly SL Hockey Association) !!

SLHA (SL Hockey Association) is now in its SEVENTH season. Established in 2006, the league continues its tradition of challenging and professional game play. In 2008, we have a new, Havok-friendly script, realistic, detailed, exciting and the finest inside SL. Equipment & membership is FREE. You will not find a more realistic and fun team sport inside SL and anyone is welcome!

We are in the midst of a growth spurt and have joined up with a second sim to continue to provide a fantastic experience for our league. North American division: 5 teams. European division: 3 teams. Farm division: 2 teams. Open Scrimmages: Tues-Th-Sat and Sun at 5pm.

As a rookie, you will receive friendly training from our vets and get to participate in games specifically for those who are learning to play, in a low-stress environment. The game itself is easy to pick up, and just takes practice and a few games and you'll be in with the pro's

The North American teams: Cobras, Ice Lords, Moose, Whales and Wolves face off on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The European Teams: Foxes, Ravens, and Storm face off on Thursdays at 1pm and Sundays at 10am.

The Farm teams: Crocs and Eagles face off at 6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and Saturdays at 10am.

Stop on by the rink and check out the action. *All spectators are asked to use the teleports by the rink to the spectator side, on our neighboring sim, to help with lag control during the games. Thank you!*

Soon, we will be preparing for our 8th season. Season 7 has brought in many new, fun people and we're going to be expanding for the next season. If you are interested in finding out more please contact me. Our playoff season is coming up shortly for S7 and you can come watch the action at the rink or on SLCN and get an idea of what it's all about. You will be glad you did!

Formerly SL Hockey Association, we have changed our name getting ready for some very exciting expansions in Second Life and beyond. We invite anyone who loves hockey to come and be a part of this exciting venture. Established in 2006, the league continues its tradition of challenging and professional game play. Equipment & membership is FREE.

If you haven't had a chance to check out a game in the last few years, bookmark it and bring a date or a friend. You'll enjoy our beautiful rink with a full arcade, casual fan section with lots of room to move around, and more. Our spectator section is located on the sim next to Jericho Hill, you won't affect the game at all yet can see and hear every play!

Our Sunday 2pm games are filmed live by the fantastic crew at the well-known SLCN TV. You can view those games on their website or live in-world. Announcers Kert Upshaw and Bedtime Bobbysocks provide an exciting, professional play-by-play.

NEW PLAYERS ARE WELCOME TO COME AND JOIN. We have vets on hand to help you get started.

Open Scrimmages: Tues-Th-Sat and Sun at 5pm. We also have random scrimmages break out at any time day or night, and anyone is welcome to join, even if you've never played. Join our group Global Online Hockey Association and you'll catch wind of all events.
