Taggart Transcontinental today announced the launch of two original interactive action games, GT Skeet Shoot, and GT Deathspawn. Both shooting games are designed for land owners to place on their land to generate revenue and attract customers. GT Skeet Shoot is a game similar to the Nintendo Entertainment System game "Duck Hunt", while Deathspawn is a more fast paced shoot-em-up where players shoot targets that appear randomly in the play field.
The games, while similar, have some differences. "We were aiming for two slightly different markets," said Chuck Widget, lead developer of GT Skeet Shoot. Skeet Shoot is gun-locked, that is, players can only use the shotgun that the game gives them, while Deathspawn is designed for players to have the choice whether to use their own gun or the game gun. This makes Deathspawn more suitable for gun stores, gun clubs and shooting range owners, while Skeet Shoot could be used in more varied environments.
Both games have owner-configurable play price and pay out on high score, and are available for test play and for sale for l$999 at Taggart Transcontinental HQ at Porcupine (186, 7
