Does anybody have information about the sorely needed relief of the antigambling law?
My husbands have 2 casinos in hes inventory XD
Hes waiting for the profitable big return if the TOS makes it possible.
Theres a rumor going around wich says under the Obama government the antigambling law will not taken that serious later.
If anybodyes have an informatin with some positive news please let me know.
Or better.Let it know with my husb Diadora Vella

Good luck with that.

Even if they repeal the law that caused LL to ban gambling, I have a feeling LL will not allow gambling back in again.

SL isn't the wild west it once was, they want to look all nice...

or maybe they will setup a gambling continent, perhaps call it Nevada and make all games of chance relocate there. You'll only be able to get there if you have $100,0000 L$ to spend and they will put you up overnight in the fanciest place SL has to offer, and even provide you with some "company" for the evening.

Sure if people are actually silly enough to play poker against the houses 3 alt avatars or play rigged slot machines programmed to the odds the owner likes with cool little "suck you in" algorithyms, why not?
We might as well give free casino's to every new member in SL so we can have everyone make a fortune off silly people.

Yes. It's games of skill. The law, and the TOS, state that it is random payouts that make gambling a problem (essentially). If the winner is chosen by a random number generator, you are SOL.

If, on the other hand, it is a game of skill, like a trivia game, then you may have a game you can use.

I am not sure if games with hidden and randomly stacked assets (poker and blackjack) combined with skill count under this regulation. They do not payout randomly and there is some skill involved, but a random number generator is used to sort the cards.

Absolutely agreed.
But dont try to compare a zyngo players "skills" with a guys skills and experiences who can hit up a 10persons tournaments 1th place on texas hold em as except.Thats a skill.

Thats fully a matter of random chance if you standing infront of a zyngomachine ,will you get the devil or the angel.Nobody will explains me why is it a "Skill game" particularly against the texas hold em XD

Yess i know its explained somewhere in the tos but please be serious and compare these guys...
