A MURDERER STALKS THE STREETS OF CALEDON!

The Caledon Ripper is about, and will be discovered this Saturday!

Come join us in Caledon on Saturday, for a cheerful and engaging game of RIPPER, an SL-version of the popular convention party game WEREWOLF (also known as MAFIA). Ripper takes advantage of SL technology to facilitate game play.

For more on Mafia/Werewolf, the parent game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_(game)

Players will take on the roles of Caledon Citizens, the Great Detective and the Caledon Ripper (or Rippers if we have a crowd). The goal of the Ripper is to be the last person standing. The goal of the Citizens is to dispatch the Ripper through mob violence (voting out suspects every turn). The Great Detective can make an enlightened guess as to the identity of the Ripper every turn, and either choose to reveal the information or not.

The game will start roughly 930 EST (PM), aka 2130. Please send a RSVP notecard to Hotspur Otoole inworld if you plan on attending.

DOH!

Sorry about that. It's PM fer sure. Caledon is very Victorian in a "through the steampunk lenses" kind of way. The theme is sort of Victorian Parlor mystery, so "formal" isn't really in it.. There are lots of acceptable alternatives.. I blush to recount it, but I've often been seen stalking the streets of Caledon wearing a rather rough-trade vampire hunters garb, replete with tribal tatoos.. and nobody batted an eyelash (except to remind me to put on shoes, which I am forever forgetting!) For Saturday, I'll be wearing a 95th Rifles uniform, if that's anything to go by.
