We always use teleporters that sort of pushed us through objects and such. But with the new PTP system will we able to script direct cords also? Or would we be forced use same old ways. Cuz be handy actualy have a stargate from one sim to another sim

Scripted teleports will work to the exact point in the following conditions
a) the desitination point is the landing point set on the land b) the destination point is your desired location in the script and the land is set to no landing point.
But you will be able to have a scripted version of a stargate that will take you to various places, although unlike llTeleportAgentHome llTeleportAgent will ask the persons permission and you may end up at the landing point of the land you want to goto not your inputted script co-ords.

They should make it ignore the landing point (or teleport ban) for an object owned by the landowner, so you can set your LP or even block teleports and still use scripted teleporters within your land. Making it work for a NO-MOD script created by the landowner would be a bonus, so you could cutnpaste a "smart landmark" script from a notecard and drop it in a coupon to give to people to come direct to your place while keeping the hoi polloi walking in the front gate.

Im not sure exactly how it will work as yet, there are two functions one which has been already added llMapDestination which basically opens the map with the beacon set at the location you requested in the script you then press teleport to go there or the nearest point etc as if it was a normal teleport behaviour.
As for llTeleportAgent my guess is as good as yours, they may start with simplicity, ie instead of opening the map it requests permission to take you to x,y,z a place do you want to go etc, and teleports you to the closest point as per normal teleport rules. The rest would probably break due to people getting hold of a no mod script and then creating it and setting it no mod and abusing it that way
