Ive followed alot of this thread and as an isl owner evan w. all the tools, privacy will not be alot differnt than it ever was.

I'll contunue to use security systems for our homes. The public areas will remain public.
Ive never found a better way to do it.

One click and the systems are off anyone is allowed ect. Simple as a truck!

Hiro:

Buy *one* 16m piece of prim land on the opposite side of the sim from your build.

Join it with the rest of your land.

Set the LP there.

Optionally, add a volume detect prim around the LP so you can notecard the errant visitor.

Currently "offer teleport" overrides landing point and (I've been told) blocked tp land.

Land settings should trump visitor settings. I think this is essential.

As a way to satisfy more people, perhaps a seperate setting "Allow Offer Teleport" could be added to land settings. This way people can have a landing point, and choose to either enforce this over offer teleport, or allow offer teleport as well.

What's wrong with always letting people Offer Teleport? If I'm allowed on your land, I should be able to TP others to my position. Security controls are fine, but too many of them makes things stupid.

Say my land is a video game.

You port in at level 1. You make it to level 10. You now offer teleport to someone and they cheat, skipping to level 10.
