Is the preview grid supposed to be working now?

The preview download page says: "Windows 2000/XP installer not found!
Mac OS X installer not found!", wich I don't believe I have seen in the past.

I see new posts pertaining to the preview grid, which is what is making me think it might be supposed to be back up.

Thank you for testing the siva grid. Through the testing process, we have found several crash bugs, examined some performance issues, and gathered some useful load statistics. We need to start testing the fixes to these problems, and will be closing the preview grid tonight at 20:00 SLT until further notice.

I was familiar with that thread.

Sometimes the preview grid is brought back up unofficially.

Its currently still closed, the messages you see on the download page are because they have removed the downloads from the database so it will error out instead of redownloading the old client.

They didn't use to remove them, you could download stuff to no purpose. Done it many times.

One might think they could cause the web page to say something sensible like 'The preview is closed, there is no preview to download." instead of what seems to be an error message.

Maybe a preview for 1.8.4 would be a good idea. Hint hint.
