I'd love to see the maximum number of groups allowed removed, or at least increased. I'm forever leaving groups I want to be in for other, more pressing needs. I could easily see myself affiliated with 30 or even 50 groups, eventually.

LL has said in the past that groups, which are essentially cross-references, are very database intensive.
I can see them upping the limit to 20 or 25, and in fact this was talked about recently. But I do not think they will ever remove the cap entirely, it'd be too tough on the database servers, especially now that SL is at 150,000 users.
