LL employees seem to be a playful lot. Whether online or inforum. An SL question that needs an SL answer--Do LL employees play too much when they're 'on the clock' as actual 'lindens'..and avoid actual work more often than not?
Seems lately most of my questions inforum and online are parsed, and non sequiturs given, not answers. When I read others posts here and chat with most of MY customers ingame, most seem as annoyed and frustrated as I get at times with not only the lack of customer service, but the frivolity with which questions are treated.
When I ask a question, it is usually rather direct. Torley Linden, for example, seems to have had a problem answering some direct questions and treating them seriously. One answer included a suggestion to have tea with Governor Linden at his/her teahouse ingame? Since I was asking a rather serious question which implied much favoritism from LL toward certain customers..perhaps LL alts...in a game which toutes itself as a great place to earn money, this was NOT a wise tone to take. Besides the fact that it did NOT occur to her/him that when Gov Linden is online it MIGHT be a good idea to be WORKING. Hmmm.
Trivializing customer questions or concerns is NOT the way to go, Linden Lab. If it is a lack of basic communication skill, at least have the logic quotient of the LL respondent be at a functional level. LOOK at the posts in the forum. Frustration with this aspect of your company has been around for a long time. From many of your customers. It's past the time to do an update on your customer service. Your reputation in this area is already fairly bad. But at LEAST have your Lindens WORK when online or inforum. Seriously. This is recreation time for US..the customers. NOT YOU.
