Hello to you all!
I have been looking for an example of what I would consider a common script (since I see it everywhere) to no avail: the "Hover Text" script. I am not a scripter so I doubt I could write this myself and I have pulled this script out of boxes I've gotten: but all it does when I open it is sit there with the word "loading..." until I get tired of looking at it (and I don't get tired very fast!).
After several hours of reading forum threads, searching the LSL Wiki and searching SL in Google, this is all I've been able to come up with:
"If you have a request or a need, this is not the forum for it. Post it to the Wisdom of the Script Guru's forum and someone will surely provide you with the answer you seek!"
Perhaps I'm really dense, or maybe my eyes have finally crossed from all the reading I've done, but I can't find any "Script Guru" forum to refer to. I'm just about ready to pull out my hair at this point!
If someone would kindy point me in the right direction to find an example of this script, I would be eternally greatfull to them!
