---OR--- llPointAt(vector pos);

OMG do I need one of these. Animations rotate the av, but it's only an animation, i.e., when the anim ends the av returns to the previous rotation. The workaround would be to never let the anim finish, but we all know how stupid that is. Second workaround would be to use llMoveToTarget(vector) with a very small distance to simulate this, but alas, if the target isn't already in your direct path, you're gonna walk sideways to get there.

I'm almost afraid to think of how many #^$ good ideas have been canned by the lack of this very simple function. This project is not my first that I've had to shelve because of it. The difference is that *this* one is a money-maker.

I tried to propose this but voting is dead. It gave me a 404.

Are there any lindens listening?
