Looking for a costume for a female friend . . . Something along the lines of Supergirl. Anything out there, or anyone interested in a custom job?

Liquid Velvet Studios, aka LVS & Co...they used to be on (I think) the 3rd floor, but she's been revamping stuff, so I'm not sure. She has Wonder Woman and Batgirl too.

I am surprised places are selling superhero costumes and getting away with it

my RL husband was making and selling them and got an email from SL telling him he had to stop

so he stopped, and has pretty much stopped playing SL...

he enjoyed making the costumes, comics and superheroes are a passion of his..

oh well..

I still have copies of some of them LOL, some cool lesser known ones too

(I just might use the psd's and make some outfits from them)

If that were true, Mutant Life would have been closed two years ago and Lindens wouldn't be buying my "Superhero costumes." Was he in fact copying them, by using the art created by others and not designing them himself? This tends to be the reason why some would be told to stop doing so. You can create these costumes and Avatar as long as they are your original work or you give credit to where they came from. I make Marvel and DC Comics Avatars and it is all my original hand drawn work. We checked into the laws and spoke with Linden Labs before we even started the shop and we have a shop right at the Dore/Ahern Welcome Area.

To the OP. I have several female superhero outfits/Avatars at MUTANT LIFE.

Thank you all. I found something that served my purposes. I will continue to keep these suggestions in mind should the need re-arise.
