Linden needs zoning areas

I wish to see a section of the continent dedicated to home builds and / or group interest lands. With the instantiation of point to point teleporting (a WONDERFUL feature, might I say) the lands of SL are increasing becoming more random...

IRL our cities use these to protect my house from having a casino next to it, I think some sims should be dedictated in the same manner. Aditionally these sims could have the unsafe land features disabled so that first person shooter style mentalities are likely to seek their entertainment elsewhere.

It is said, you can fix up your house, but you can not fix your neighbors.. Zoning laws at least insure that you don't have a disco next to your gazebo. I think that PG and Mature zoning is a great first step, let's carry it one further.

I'll be sure to pass your thoughts along to the others in the company; this is something I believe has been discussed in the past, though I'm not sure if plans are being made to do something of the sort. At any rate, thanks for posting on this - I'm sure you're not the only one that feels this way! ^^

Sorry Maken, after some discussion I've found out that we really don't plan to do zoning. This is already something that many of your fellow residents are working on, and doing a darn good job of it from what I've seen. Your suggestions are always welcome of course, but this is one we're just not finding feasible, due to a variety of reasons. Thank you!
