Is this supposed to be happening? I don't mind either way, really, I just found it unusual. Or am I just noticing this now, and it's been this way for a while?

Hello Cross. This was news to me too! But, the stream that is playing in the sandboxes is Radio Linden. It features original music created by SL residents, interviews, tips and tricks, and basically everything SL! But, if this does not interest you, just press stop on your radio control.
