A friend of mine has asked to be the property manager for his land. When I asked him what this would entail he replied:

" Someone that can find renters to rent, as well as manage the properties on an ongoing basis.
A prop manager would do the following
1) advertise and find/aquire renters
2) set up the apartments and maintain them
3) collect rents
4) troubleshoot problems for the renters
The position would require someone that has or can aquire insight and knowledge about how SL real estate works, building, and financial management. You would need to learn to set up and mod buildings/apts"

That sounds easy enough and figured I could go through some of the knowledge base and such to find out how to do those things. I am having a hard time finding anywhere that gives me this sort of information. I am assuming that it's fairly easy to learn, one just has to know where to look. Can any guide me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Hello Darkling. I am not sure there are business model information in the knowledge base. A lot of the information may be found there in general terms, however. I would suggest you talk to others in this same business that may be willing to discuss your options. Visit rental venues and see how they are set up. Live Help might also be of some assistance. Best of luck to you.
