Hi Guy ( and whoever else may read : ) )

Im pretty upset right now but i will try my best to explain my poblem .

A Few weeks ago i bought a plot( 512 sqm ) on the whinlatter sim and loved it , After deciding what house i wanted on it i found it to be pretty high prim and found i needed more land on the sim so i could firnish the home .

Within a few days i noticed another section was up for auction ( Whinlatter (14,126) ) and decided i would try and buy it , I had to borrow L$7000's as i could not afford any more than the money i allready had
The new plot was perfect right on a river bank and bigger than my original plot at around 1600sqm , I knew that if i won at the auction it would solve my problem and allso allow me to set up home on the bigger plot .

I was realy excited at the thoght of getting the new plot and had to get up at around 2am in the morning to apply to the auction , It's was a great experience and i enjoyed the thrill of not knowing if i would get my dream plot .

I won ! weee :) i was so happy , I had found a realy nice plot overlooking the river right next to the water and a bridge to my right , I Felt great evrything was perfect untill a few days later , I logged on to find that directley in front of me a First land had been created on the slope down to the water , The land was originaly liden land and anyone looking at it would tell you that no way would or should another plot be made on that section .....about 70% of it is under water .

What im trying to explain is ... Anyone who ( like me ) was to be buying my plot ..... the last thing you would expect is another plot to spring out of nothing right in front of it , The fact that its allso First land is just plain crazy as no other first land is even near it .

The first land plot is actualy on the sim next to whinlatter and is located in the water ....It just don't make any sence why you would create a firstland on a plot at is at least 70 % under water ?

Ok with all of that said , I tryed to make good out of a bad situation , I contacted the owner of the land ( non of this his fault btw ) to talking to him about the situation and ask him if he would sell his land to me at a price he named so that i could at least try and put this error right ,
.... Even thogh the land can't be built on i felt a bit better knowing that i may at least still save the nice view of the river

I had no luck contacting him but later found out that he had an argument with the girl who own's the plot of land to my left , It turned out that he had come and built a lot of pointless objects that overlapped into her land and that he had refused to remove them and found it to be funny that he had annoyed her , In the end she reported him for this and the verbal abuse that he had given her ....A few days passed and it got worse and now i have his house above me over hanging my ( now worthless ) land and i can not contact him , He's never online and never replys to any ( polite ) Im's that i have sent him .

I am at my wits end now and im concidering selling up ( no dout at a loss ) and closing my account for all of the reason's i have stated above ... 1 that land should not have been made in that spot.... If you come and look at it you yourself would agree that it was a mistake , 2 the fact its firstland given to somone who is just here to spoil things for other residents and enjoys doing it .

Just to point out somone took the land behinde me and i went out of my way to move my house and re formed all of the land so that i would not be blocking the person behind me and depriving them of the view overlooking the river ....It took me 4 hours to do ..... and i did it without even being asked ...I concider myself to be a good resident to SL and i spend a lot of time here , Im now being pushed out of the sim by an error made in putting that land in place ...and a greifer who is never online .

Ok venting done ..... Guy i hope you can come and look at this for me and please help make this situation right .

Thank you for taking the time to at least read this far

Lost

Ps i will add the locations of the plots as soon as the grid is reopened

Hello Lostmedia. I am sorry you have had troubles here. The First Land is in Macclaine is one of six First Land plots that was added to that area of the region. Part of the ridge next to the bridge and bordering your land in Whinlatter is Protected Land, the other area was not protected. I can understand your disappointment, but land that is not marked as protected will likely be set for sale at some point.

As far as the griefing and parcel encroachment, please detail the issue in an abuse report and it will be investigated. I did not see any encroachment at this location at this time, but please document it should it occur.
