Hi,
I purchased my first sim land and a friend put a house on it for me. A few things I can't alter the house in anyway i.e. textures etc... Do you know why?
Sencond question, I want to buy a bigger plot somewhere, where I can put up a house kit. Do i have to sell my first land first in order to do this? Are there additional fees if i buy more land? I payed for th $72 annual payment subscription.

It's probable that those pieces are still owned by your friend. You can right click the land, select About Land and go to the Objects tab. Towards the middle there is a Refresh List button.. click that and if you see an of your friends prims, then you will have to find the ones owned by them and have your friend sell them to you for L$0 with permissions.
As for land, you would have to sell your first land.. a larger plot will require you to tire up. Please click Your Account at the top right of the Community page, and look under Land Usage Fees in the windowed section to the right. You can speak to an in world Liaison if you have any other questions. Thanks!
