Mucked up a land transfer

So here is the series of events:

I had deeded my 512 land(Charissa 91, 240, 95) to a group.

The group decided that they wanted to move and was therefore going to give me my land back. Since I was not an officer of the group, I asked that one of them come over and set the land so that I could only be sold to me, and sell it for 0 Linden.

Here's where it went wrong, the person clicked the Abandon Land button, thinking that I could buy it back then. Not the case.

I IM'ed Live Help and Dee told me to post here, which brings me to the now.

So I was wondering, is there anyway I could have my land back?
