Is it possible to share ownership?

I was wondering if anyone knows whether you can share ownership of a property... My thought was that you can form a group but I am not sure since a group requires 3 people...I am looking to open a sl business with a partner and we both want the rights that come with land ownership....any feedback or advice is highly appreciated.
