I reported this as a bug (#100030), but I'm not sure what the best way is, so I thought I'd mention it here too.

The land in Metis on the border with BonneyDoon will not smooth properly. It's stuck at a height that is artificially low. This puts a rip in the landscape and looks really unnatural. The rip is right in the side of a mountain range.

I know I've seen other posts about this type of thing. Not sure if LL has a fix for it, but it needs to be a priority. I noticed the problem in Metis months ago, but didn't report it.

Anyway, I'd appreciate it if something could be done.

thanks!

This is something I experience quite frequently as well - you've done the best thing you can in reporting it, so thank you very much!
