I have opened a new Feature Vote for an additional category in the Land Search.
Currently, you have the option of searching for Land for Sale, Land Auctions, and First Land. However, the Land for Sale category is so overstuffed with Rental property that it is nigh-unto impossible to actually find land that is strictly for sale, out-and-out.
It would not be difficult, nor put undue stress on the database, to add a flag to indicate whether land is being offered for outright sale, or if the "listing price" is merely a down-payment or first month's rent.
This could also include, as an option, a covenant/no-covenant flag, island/mainland flag, or other indicators that could help a person find the perfect plot. I would also like to see, but have not included in this proposal, a way to specify not only minimum size, but maximum size as well, for those on a budget who are looking for 1024, or 2048, and no more than that. However, this problem would be mostly alleviated with the proper implementation (and required adherence) to the "For Rent" flag.
