The land textures set in the Estate menu of my sim EverLite are not applied correctly at all.
I wanted to set the ground to white sand from 0m to about 27m, then grass above that. But whatever I try brings the following result:
- white sand over a roughly 40m-wide band of land on the West border of the sim, and grass everywhere else, even at the bottom of the sea (0m altitude).
Whatever texture I set as the "high" texture, instead of showing only above the "top" altitude I've set, shows everywhere indistinctly on most of the sim (everywhere but the weird 40m-wide band of land on the West).
After thinking hard about it, it seems that the "top" altitude for the NorthEast corner is interpreted as a negative value, for whatever reason. Because of this the sim considers that ALL of my sim is WAY above the "top" altitude and thus should show the "high" texture, then paints some of the "lower" textures on the other borders (is it based on some linear interpolation between the falsely-negative altitude and the correct altitude for the other corners ?).
For the moment I've set all the textures to be default grass to avoid my sim looking really weird to visitors
