Tree trouble

Trees frequently overlap the land they are planted on.

These trees can end up waving through peoples homes... this can be very anoying

I think that any land owner should be able to delete any prim partly overlaping on to his land, especialy tree prims. This should work with a 1 hour delay so a tempory accidental incursion could not be instantly deleted.

If everyone knew that an overhanging tree could be deleted they might be more careful whare they put them.

If landowners could delete overhanging trees it would also save the Lindens the time they are spending dealing with requests to clear " nusance trees ".

Hello Jonathan. Thanks for your suggestion. I do not know if something like this can work, since the overlap object is actually rooted on the correct land. Dialogue with neighbors is the best plan of action at the present time. This is often an accidental occurrence and neighbors are happy to correct it as it becomes known to them.
