Land deeded to group, group now gone

I bought a piece of land and started a group. I deeded the land to the group I started. I was away for about two weeks and came home to find that my group was disbanded due to too few members. My land is now deeded to a closed group. I can't do anything with the land as it still says it belongs to the defunct group. I tried to re-create the group, but am told it isn't possible because the group exists. How can I get ownership of my land back? If I can't, will it eventually be available to buy again?
