Prim usage...?

Forgive me... I have not gone through the list of threads so perhaps someone has asked this already. If so all apologies.

I was wondering if anyone knew what the maximum prim usage on 512, 1048, whatever is...and why the heck is it so hard to find. I found a 2048 with 7000 prims allowed for L$40,000 and that was the best I was able to find. Does anyone object to my perception that this is an average deal, and if not where I might be able to find some land about that size with more prims?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Jeffrey. A region can hold 15,000 prims. The amount of prims you can use in a region is a percentage of these prims versus owned land. 512m = 117, 1024m = 234, 1536m = 351, etc.

In the About Land > Objects information, at the top you see two references to prim use. The top one, "simulator prim usage" shows the total prims the land owner can use in the region on any land they own in this region. This applies to any land, multiple plots and / or not joined.

The second line shows the objects that parcel supports. This is the one that you should be interested in when shopping for land. Often times one person may own a number of separate plots and their simulator prim use can be very high. When a plot is sold, it has a new owner and that owners prim use is based on how much land they own in the region. So if you are looking at a plot of 4096m, note the objects parcel supports, 937.
