Joining two pieces of land

This morning i bought two pieces of land, sizes 2304 and 2112 square meters.
I deeded to a group of mine and now i'd like to join them together so that my group will have one lot of 4416 square meters.
Somehow i don't seem to be able to select such a large amount of square meters to join them. Is there some sort of limitation to that or am i being clumsy?

Any helpful advice is very much appreciated,

Hello Kyros. You do not have to select all the land in each plot, you only need to edit land so that your edit box intersects both plots. If you need more help, try the F1 key information while in world, or ask Live Help.
