Alter Protected Land Boundary?

Not sure how rigid the rules are on this, but figured if I don't ask, I won't find out.

I recently acquired a 512 sq. metre plot at Linda (9,35) -- mostly underwater, with protected land (a river, and the sea) on two sides. I planned to put a nice Loniki prefab there on stilts, with a small pier alongside. But a small section of this building (the most outward section of a curved end) will slip into the protected land by just one meter.

Irritatingly, a 4x3 metre "cube" of land that I could never do anything with sticks out between river and sea, and I wonder if this could be redistributed, slightly changing my plot so that it will accomodate an extra metre of structure? As this would widen the bend between river and sea slightly (yeah, a whole 12 sq. metres :D) surely this wouldn't be to the detriment of the protected land? And I of course would retain a 512 sq. meter plot.

I've left some prims underwater at Linda (2,62,10). (Hopefully they won't be autoreturned.) The WOOD textured prim sticking out represents the foundation of the structure overlapping into protected land. The GREEN block represents the 12 meter square area I wouldn't mind losing...but only if it's reallocated in the area marked by the two RED blocks (1mx8m & 1mx4m).

No problem if my wish can't be accomodated. I'm still learning.

Hello Dillon. Nice to meet you in world and talk about this. As you know, we can not edit land less than 4m in width. I can not help you gain any distance into the protected land, but we were able to swap the 16m dogleg piece so that you have a more squarish shaped plot.
