I understand why a teraforming limit was introduced... but why must it be so little?

I submitted this question as the 3rd question in the forum thread for those who couldn't attend the latest town hall.

I never got it answered.

For those that own vast quantities of mainland, some of us want to construct landscapes and mountainous regions, but you cant do squat with 4-/+m.

Is the teraforming limit being reconsidered?

NEW MESSAGE:

Hello Alleyn. There is no plan to change the current terraforming limits on the mainland. The current 4m limit (most of the mainland) allows some minor terraforming to your land without drastically effecting your neighbors property. There is a variety of terrain types around the mainland and individual regions are not meant to be totally transformed by a single land owner.

One thing you might consider, if you have a special project in mind, is looking into owning an estate. Private estates allow terraforming to a limit of 100m.
