First Land shortage

You said here that there is a shortage of First Land. There are two "Land for the Landless" parcels at Seogwipo 230,52,51 and 198,67,53 that are listed as "Not For Sale". Additionally there is a plot at Seogwipo 151,100,58 that is described as "Extra Prims" but is only 512 m and has no more than the usal 117 prim allowance. This, too, would make excellent First Land. Couldn't these be offered to first-timers?

While I'm at it, may I make a suggestion? Why not list First Land on the website (in the same way as Auction Land), and grouped according to sim so that folks can browse at their leisure. I remember that I found the Land Sales tab very daunting when I was a newbie (from some standpoints I suppose I still am [G]) and in the end I grabbed a parcel without really knowing where I was.

Hello Francesca. Thanks for your post. I set the plots you mentioned for sale as First Land.

I have been doing this same thing all over the world while working on the abandoned land list. I have been creating a fair amount of First Land this way, but demand is high and it goes fast. I will continue this daily over the coming weeks, killing too birds with one stone, so to speak. Keep refreshing the land for sale list to see what is available.

There are no plans to host the land for sale on the website. I think it is easier to look at in world while shopping for land. Seeing it for sale on the website and logging in later to find it sold already could be very frustrating for many.
