Location: Cranberry 241, 149, 84.
My family's main residence is in Canfield on the Cranberry River. Much of the river itself of course is protected land. Recently an individual named Beyond Gray somehow carved out and claimed as private property a 4x4m (16 sq. m) corner chunk of the protected land of the waterway, and stuck a bright red 10m-high advertising pillar right in the MIDDLE of the RIVER. This is a blatant abuse of the purpose of the protected land, i.e. to preserve the scenery of the river and keep it clear for navigation. (Notice from the distance/scale of the photo how big and obnoxious this thing is.)
We even offered to buy out the offending parcel, but the owner's response was that they aren't interested in selling "any of their 16m parcels." It sounds from this like there are other similar blights, and this person is trying to become the next Impeach Bush.
I am all in favor of private property rights, but Protected Land should be just that, Protected. Someone shouldn't be able to come along and buy/claim it just to litter the landscape with random ugly commercial junk.
I think that this 4x4 parcel should be reverted back to Protected Gov. Linden land.
