I see many posts in this forum regarding 'Parcel Y is owned by Avatar Z who no longer exists!' and I myself often encounter curious abandoned builds and find the landowner to be among the departed, and sometimes these conditions persist for extended periods.

Are such abandoned parcels the domain of this forum?

Yes they are. If you find what you think to be abandoned land, you can do a search for that person via the Find button. Should their name not appear either offline or on, then report it here. Otherwise, they are still a resident of Second Life and their content is protected as such.
