Question about Land Mangement

I've got a question.... I've got some land in Fourmile which was purchased through the group that I belong to. The neighbor put his house right on the property line boardering our lot. I don't particularly have a problem with that except for that the house that I have is about 3 or 4 meters (whatever that is in SL...hehe) from the property line. Since I don't particularly want to see a wall outside of my windows, I placed some trees along the property line. Well....the space that is left is so small that the trees are either going to stick through my wall or theirs. I'm sure you can figure out which option I opted for.

Now...my questions.

1. If he complains, and refuses to move his house over to clear the trees, are you going to remove the trees? (I don't have the option of moving my house since it takes up most of the width of the property and I would end up with my house on the line on the opposite side.)

2. Is there an easement policy on property lines? It seems to me that one should not place anything right on the edge of a property line just as you can't in RL.

3. Are you the liason between property owners to resolve conflicts?....or are you just good with a hatchet?...hehehe

Should it come to conflict, contact an in-world Liaison or support@secondlife.com as a last resort - I am not a Liaison. I place content in the world (trees, roads, etc) and fix Linden-owned content that needs it.

This is something I'd like to encourage you and your neighbor to try to resolve between yourselves if possible.. maybe you could put up a prim that's invisible on all sides except yours with some bit of scenery? Plenty of ways to solve it, and I'm sure you're both quite capable.

Good luck and happy building!
