Is anyone else having this issue... Friends on line list has NO names only (waiting) ? I have rebooted and cleared my cache..... have had this before but when i reboot it seems to clear... this time no luck. Ideas? thanks Jill  |

it's just what the friends list has always done.. relogging usually fixes, not always.. sometimes it's a game-wide problem, sometimes only you.. meh

Which viewer are you using?  I haven't had it happen once since I started using the 1.19.1 release candidate. |

I have the same problem since the last update, I even uninstalled SL and downloaded it again. Needless to say that it didn't work...
I'm just gonna wait and sit till it's fixed by the update experts, the Lindens.

Hasn't anyone read the blogs? LL changed all our account names to (waiting).. except those that pay for accounts, they are now known as Hippo's.

I'm having the same problem with the normal viewer, all friends are waiting, and they seem to have been waiting for the last two weeks.
I switched to using the Second Life Release Candidate and that works fine, so it maybe be an issue with the normal viewer.
I've uninstalled and re-installed but its made no difference, so I give up
