Was wondering if anyone had an answer since live help doesnt seem to want to respond.
My friend is on a Windows operating system uses cable brand new pc has all gaming requirments installed and cant connect after new update. Well they where on a period of time and when they went to log back on it just hangs.We tried to clean cache,uninstall and reinstall SL tried to log on at diff locations and no luck, I can see the av come into world it never changed from that midget form and just poofs any suggestions would be great.

I could not connect this morning either - although the status said SL was ONLINE in the upper right corner.

Took me three tries to connect earlier. While running another LOGGED IN COPY. The error I got back was "could not connect to <sl log in url>"

I've been trying to get logged in for over 3 hrs now. From day one of using SL, I've never had a problem getting online. But after I dl'd the update today, I can't get logged in. I see there are over 12,000 people logged in...I hope thats the only reason why. I hate to think I cant use SL now...
