I have a dream.
I have a dream that one day the SL nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: all residents deserve a stable and optimized SL”

WTF you talking about? In case you haven't noticed, SL is a product owned by LL. There is no government, hence no rights. Therefor you deserve nothing, unless the product is warrantied.

Buyer beware.

SL is a virtual space where the only government is an increasingly remote dicatorship.

Which is fine, it is what it is. And you betcha, buyer beware. :)

It may be owned by LL, but without the support of the users, it will disappear into oblivion as soon as another Company comes along with another 'world'

Most likely, but that changes nothing.

I believe this will happen now sooner rather than later. Someone comes along and provides a little stability and a little customer service and SL will be a ghost town

And if Linden hasn't realized that, then they ARE clueless.

Very similiar situation to what Origin Systems had back when Ultima Online first opened for business. They were really the only game in town, and the way they failed to respond to the users needs and wants meant that the very first competitor who opened up shop quickly became the most successful MMO of all time (till very recently, maybe).
