I don't know about anyone else, but for the moment, textures are loading instantly. *crossing fingers* so far so good! OK, so I remain invisible for a bit while clothing is loading, but this is the first time in days that lag is GONE!!!! Nice update!

I like it too. I spent a while this morning just spinning my camera around. Of course, I started dropping the odd frame when other people came into view, but it's still a noticeable improvement.

the inventory arrows are crap though

Hi Lady :D

It generally seems about the same to me, I'm in Derwent too atm and textures are taking as long as ever to load, like as much as 5 minutes sometimes.

Lag, mmm, can't tell any difference from where I am.

Teleporting does seem better.

Script additions are great.

New estate tools are really great.

I like being able to see where items are attached in the inventory list.

Changes to inventory appearance are pointless although I for one approve of the search hiliting, but maybe it could be more subtle.

Huds still show in photos, ( the menu item to hide them should have a shortcut )

Movement still very jerky.

So overall it's a small improvement which can't be bad :)

... i forgot planar texture mapping ... that really rocks !!

I have to agree that 1.9 is a nice step forward. Planar texturing deserves more praise than it has gotten, the bonus feature in the build tool that they snuck in is good, I can't wait to play with the camera controls, and performance is better. I am seeing a 50%-100% increase in framerate everywhere I go. Maybe a result of the new sim-to-sim communications? Good stuff.
