I uninstalled all old versions (1.13.2.15 + Firstlook) of Second Life to have a clean HD and to get in no conflict between old and new version.
I downloaded the new 1.15 from s3.amazonaws.com I started the installation.. In the middle of the installation process ... several error messages appear that most of the DLLs and some other files are not installable. As far as I am aware, the 'update' doesn't include every file (dll) needed for the game. Perhaps reinstall the old version and try again?
Also, did you use uninstall from windows control panel, or simply the delete key? That would leave a lot of invalid entries in the registry. _____________________
