I use a fair bit of full-bright and light in my builds and since the latest viewer came out I noticed that alot of the lights in my builds seemed to have changed colour or at least became significantly harsher. This puzzled me for a while but i figured it was probablt just my video card and kept going. Last week I had to rush out a pre-release of one of my builds as well as starting a new project and had to fiddle around with the lighting a fair bit. That's when I noticed that all the lights in my builds had lost their selected colour and had reverted to the default white light. After a quick bit of experimenting I discovered that although the colour picker seemed to work for the lighting, every time I closed and re-opened my editor I found that the lights had lost their selected colour and were white again. I have 2 questions: 1) Am I the only person to notice this? 2) If not, does this mean that I'll have to 'fix' all the lighting in my builds (ie: set them back to the original colour) after LL fixes the lighting? I don't look forward to this scenario as I have a range of roughly 60 prefab treehouses and other buildings all of which make use of lighting to a greater or lesser extent.

This sounds a bit like a problem that used to happen quite often, where the packet sent to tell the server you changed the prim parameter gets 'lost', and so the parameter changed reverts back to it's previous setting. For awhile it was maddeningly frequent in it's occurance, but It's been awhile since i've seen it crop up. I just finished a bridge with warning beacons on the top, which are red lights. I didn't see any issue setting the color.
As for the lights being harsher, this is true. One of the changes to the viewer was the repair of a bug, it used to be that an object wasn't illuminated by it's own light. They have now fixed this. However lighting adjusted under the old conditions now don't look quite right.

Hiyas Darien! Yes, I checked it again last night an the lighting held the chosen colour. Maybe it was packet loss. I frequently have up to 5% most days. Yes, lighting looks alot harsher now. All that nice warm yellow lighting that I carefuly made now looks like industrial kleig lights
