it's the showcase...a "good ole boy" system where those "in" with the linden, or even linden alts can have their stores and places "featured" for free..while the rest of us arent' worthy. There is no way to nominate or submit a place for inclusion. It's completely at the whims of the lindens who run it.

There is no way to nominate or submit a place for inclusion. Can I submit a venue for the showcase directory? Yes! If you are interested in submitting a suggestion for inclusion in Showcase, we ask that you send an email to Second Life Editors (editor@lists.lindenlab.com) with the following information: Name of Venue: SLURL link Suggested headline: (max: 25 characters) Suggested text: (max: 150 characters) Your e-mail contact information so that we can reach you for more information Please be aware that submission suggestions do not guarantee placement in Showcase. Also, inclusion in Showcase will not be permanent since we will be routinely removing entries as new venues are added. |

Umm Kitty I'm not sure that information is entirely accurate at this point in time, my information is that they're working on ways to avoid IP issues before they actually accept submissions.
However, fashion just shouldn't be in there in its present form, that industry is way too competitive. |

Not everyone sees that "submission" information. When I go to that page, I get "We are not accepting nominations at this time".
Guess you gotta be in with the Lindens to nominate? EDIT: Oh Mah Gaw...they changed it where anyone can submit a venue now! WOW! That is cool! I"m glad to see them listen to people. That evens the playing field.... _____________________
