Have Version 1.23 problems been fixed?

So now that LL has put the adult content policy in place, and you can't search adult content with 1.22, have the problems with 1.23 been resolved? Back in June, when I first installed it, all kinds of weird stuff would happen, including parts of my body disappearing completely if I took off clothes. I know from reading that it was happening to many other people, too. Which pretty much made it an unusable version. I reverted back to 1.22 back then because 1.23 was such a defective release.

Problems with 1.23 won't be fixed till 1.24, but it looks like 1.24 has been canned and we have to either use Snowglobe or wait for the 2010 MegaViewer 2.0 in January.

Well that sucks, because as a dancer, 1.23 was pretty much unusable for me.

You can try GreenLife Emerald as replacement for the Linden Labs software. It is compliant with 1.23 http://modularsystems.sl/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=sections&Itemid=5

I guess I can. I'm actually using Kirstens viewer with 1.22. When I tried it with 1.23, I saw all the same problems as 1.23 exhibited on its own. If Emerald is better, maybe that will help.

It is just very annoying that Linden is forcing the adult content rules without having a compliant viewer that actually works right.

I wish some coherent posts on the evolution of 1.23 were available. Emerald has security issues, I'm told; is this true?

Also as an RLV user, RLVa is NOT true RLV - is there any evidence that Henri Beauchmp's Cool SL Viewer 1.23 is any better?

I'm not too fussed about searching Adult content, since sex or porn is not my driver(!), but I want to be up in the contemporary with RLV.

As with so much of this Adult Policy, there seems to be too much smoke and too little substantive info about.
