I actually posted this on feature suggestions already but I thought it was something really easy to implement that would be useful, so maybe it could make it into 1.6? Text entry dialog boxI'll summarize by saying it's simple: an LSL command to open a dialog box, which pops up and asks for input, then echos whatever was input to a valid channel. --Jack Lambert

I second that motion, Sir. I think, dialogs are a wonderful part of the user interface; or could become so ... see also /120/52/3740/1.html

1.6 is well into 'feature freeze' which means no new features are being added to 1.6. All work on 1.6 right now is centered on finding and fixing bugs that have popped up and finalizing existing features.

From: Kelly Linden 1.6 is well into 'feature freeze' which means no new features are being added to 1.6. All work on 1.6 right now is centered on finding and fixing bugs that have popped up and finalizing existing features. But one can have hopes for 1.7 ... oder 1.6.x ... I think it was meant (at least by me) as a kind of 'feature request for some future version'. Not specifically for 1.6.
