Alpha sorting still broken

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but I know at least some portion of alpha rendering issues were supposed to be fixed (essentially breaking cell-shading, IIRC) with the last update.

Well, I'm still seeing the same layering issues everywhere I used to, and cell-shading is still working just fine. Am I just confused about what the fix was supposed to do? If anyone has actually seen results from this "fix" could they please report about it and maybe even include a screenshot? Or just some elaboration on the purpose of the fix would be nice.

I'm running on a GeForce 7900GS, not that it should matter, but just to prevent "it's your video card" from popping up.

The "Cell-shading" that many people use in SL doesn't actually use the alpha layering glitch.

As to the glitch itself, it's unlikely that it will ever be fully fixed. As far as I understand it, alpha layering is, at this point, an unsolved problem in 3d gaming... most games simply work around it and avoid triggering layering issues through careful placing of alphas, but SL doesn't have that luxury.
