I feel that this is a funny place to ask for Tech suport, but its a last resort attempt to get help on my problem.

1)for the last 24 hours I can not log on. Every time I try, I get the following message.
---------------snip------------------
Login Failed.
The system is logging you out right now.
Your Account will not be available until "x".
-----------snip------------
x always equals aproximately 3 min in the future
I am hoping that this problem will clear up on its own, but its not. I can not log on anymore.

Question: Am I the only one this is happening to?

2)Why can isnt my Live Chat with Technical Suport working? When I try, the little window pops up and says the following....

-----------snip--------------
CONNECTING
Connecting to Server...
Finding an Operator...
Initiating Chat...
----------snip---------------

....the java window appears to be operating properly, but nobody is talking to me. I have been waiting for over an hour for a tech to respond. I am not even absolutely sure that is it is working properly, for all I know, its malfunctioning also.

3) How long does it take to get technical suport? This is not specified on web site. I have submitted a help ticket 24 hours ago. Maybe me expecting help with in 24 hours is unreasonable. Should I go away for a week and come back and look? I really don't know.

4)Why is there no tech suport by telephone? I am a premium customer and I think the aprox $12 usd I pay each month should afford me telephone suport when all other avenues of suport fail.

------------------------

I have a store on SL, and I would really like to get back to it. I need to log back on! I am afraid that a customer may have questions or need tech suport on one of my products and I should be there to respond in a timely fashon. I got one email message so far from a mall saying my store rent is due today! If I don't get back soon, I will not be able to pay rent and my stores may be derezzed. If some kind user would like to help me, Please email me at [email]insowork@yahoo.com

It sound like you're ghosted in-world. Live Chat is usually faster but, since it seems not to be working, have you tried putting in a Support ticket? There's a 'Technical Issue>I can't log in' option.

Also, are you using IE? I seem to recall hearing that Live Chat doesn't work with that browser.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I had this happen a few times. It turned out that it was my internet connection - I was wireless. I had to go the wired route to get live chat to work.

I was locked out of my account for 20 days, submitted a ticket, and it felt like forever :(

I thought there was support by phone? I've never felt the need to use it as due to my location, I am not footing the bill for their errors!!

1) Your av is probably still in-world, not properly logged-off. If you were to go inworld as another alt, you'd see your original av still standing there lifeless. A trick that sometimes works is to get someone (a friend, or an alt of your own) to repeatedly send IMs to the ghosted avatar. After a while it should register as being not actually logged-in, the av will vanish.

If this doesn't work, and you are standing on an estate/island territory you may have to ask the sim owner for a restart of the sim. If you are on mainland, it will clear up next time there's a rolling-restart of the region.

2) No clue. A java issue?

3) Support tickets I've submitted have all taken 4-7 days to get a reply.
