Cool, more BS from the increasingly incompetent LL!

Last night I was logging in fine, but this morning.....
It will almost finish loading, then crash. Every time. You know how it will show the background as what you last saw before you logged off? One of the times I tried logging in it showed something from over a month ago. What?!? So I thought maybe I had an outdated viewer. So I just got the newest one just in case, and it still crashes. I basically can't log in. It loads up to "Connecting to region....." and then just stops. I've tried connecting to other regions than just my Home, but that won't work. I even begin to hear the wind in the BG! Then...DERRR! CRASH!!! DERRRP! Jesus.

Edit: And I can log on, on another computer, but not my personal laptop. Last night I could, I didn't change a thing overnight, and then suddenly it won't work on this PC. What?

Cool stuff, LL, cool stuff.

Oh, and hey, while I'm at it, Linden Lab, why don't you explain to my why when there's one transparent texture in front of the other, the one behind it will randomly pop in and out and show through? Good God, get your act together. I don't understand why I'm still seeing that glitch. To fix it I need to put extra prims behind the trans. textures, and that just messes up my products by adding useless prims.

........................*stares in utter disbelief*

Because I couldn't get onto my email, let alone Second Life, for a few days, I come back to find my group was disbanded....BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET ANOTHER FUCKING MEMBER IN IT?

WHAT?

WHY?

LL, WHY? WE ALREADY FUCKING OVER-PAID TO MAKE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I wish every member of Linden Labs would have died in 9/11 so we wouldn't be putting up with this utter BULLSHIT. Why did it cost to make a group? Beats me, but LL is comprised of greedy thieves, so what the hell. But then they DELETE groups for not having a second member....AND THEY DON'T GIVE ME MY 100L BACK?

Dear Linden Labs

You are a bunch of low-lived thieves with no concept of morals. You charge for everything, you practically steal L$, you make a program filled with errors that occasionally deletes our inventories, and you have some of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I found SL in early March, and at this point, I am getting extremely fed up with the nonsense you put us through. Get your act together, or I, along with many other SL residents, will move on to more promising games. Like Sony's Home, which will undoubtedly have a lot less royal fuckups as SL does. Oh, and Sony has customer service you could only DREAM of providing. Well, not really, because it's not like you care about SL users in the first place; you care about one thing: money.

Stop.
Stop now.
Get your goddamned act together

Sincerely,

-Most SL users

PS: Please die.

PPS: With the exception of Tory Linden, who, in my opinion, is the ONLY Linden who isn't a stuck-up morally devoid moron.

But oh wait! Oh the irony! They won't even see this message, because they don't even bother to check user problems anyway! :D

Are you actually interested in answers or just needed to vent?

Just in case and briefly:
* alpha sorting is a computer 3D problem apparantly, and not specific to SL
* creating groups costs money to deter people from creating groups unncessarily and cluttering things up and it's a convenient sink (it does send you a message stating that the group will disband due to a lack of members, or at least it used to a year ago)
* puter problem is hard to suggest anything for without more details (and the Technical Answers forum would be better suited to get better answers probably as well)

Yep. Just like it says in the knowledge base article about making groups.

Stress balls can help a lot too :).

For the puter side, you're probably better off reposting in the Technical Issues forum with a more detailed description of your laptop and/or encountered issues.

The design forum is probably more fitting if you really want a technical explanation about alpha sorting I'd guess.

The reason you get an old picture backgrounds is because the image is only saved when you set your home location. Mine is from a good 8 months or so ago when I still work my suit of armour. I keep forgetting to reset my home location just to update it.

I'm going to lock. If the OP would like to repost they may but it shouldn't be so abrasive. State your problems clearly and don't wish people dead.
