I downloaded the 1.17.2 version and it runs ok on my laptop (in multiple mode, too!) but on my main computer it crashes on launch. I get a windows dialogue panel telling me that SecondLife.exe has encountered a serious error and has to close. So I've gone back to using version 1.17.12 in order to avoid the 'crash-on-edit' bug.

Intel 945 3.4 ghx cpu, Asus P5VDC-X mobo w/ VIA PT880 Ultra chipset, 2 gb Nanya RAM, nVidia 6200 AGP w/256mb RAM, Maxtor 250gB HDD, SoundMax Integrated digital audio + Marian Marc8 MIDI audio/midi PCI interface, VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet adapter, Windows XP Pro Corporate SP2.
