I know there are a lot of JIRA issues that I care about and would vote on, but unless it comes up in a thread (and if there's only one I can't be bothered logging into to JIRA just to vote ) I usually won't know it even exists. So if you filed a bug recently and want to promote its existance and get votes on it, or have other people check to see if they can reproduce it as well, please add them to the thread . It would probably help if everyone could stick to bugs only (and start a similar thread in the feature proposal forum?) and make a new thread for comments so this one doesn't get all cluttered up . --- I filed a few cause I was bored: VWR-3310: Viewer ignores the aspect ratio setting and uses desktop's instead http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3310VWR-3311: Web UI elements' focus rectangle are offset from their displayed position http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3311VWR-3312: Hover tooltips bleed through other windows http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3312VWR-3369: Unable to clear filters from the "Show Filters" window http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3369VWR-3370: "Show on Map" in the "About Landmark" is non-functional on the first run http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3370VWR-3371: HUD prims (partially) dissapear when camera intersects a body/object http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3371One was filed already: VWR-2004: Map Search text box no highlight on first use http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2004Reopened since it still happens to me: VWR-1998: Friends list empty (filled with "waiting" and "hippos" after "clear cache" log-on http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1998

And http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-224 !!! From: WEB-224 New forum: JIRA Issue Discussions After attending (or reading transcripts of) some of Benjamin's and Rob's office hours, I think it might be useful to have a forum for bug discussions.
Lots of people seem to have issues with JIRA and most can't attend the office meetings.

http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-326 From: MISC-326 Governor Linden owned parcels do not have uniform parcel settings which allows griefers to create parcel infringing and other objectionable objects that are not affected by auto-return.
Governor Linden parcels scattered all across the mainland have a variety of parcel flags set that are not uniform with many of the reserved parcels. These seem to be parcels that were abandoned or repossessed by Linden in most cases but still carry some of the settings from the previous owners that cause a variety of inconveniences, like no fly, no script, no auto-return etc.. A great many have object creation enabled with no auto-return set which many users are using to infring upon others parcels or altogether avoid the need to purchase their own land by squatting on inappropriately configured parcels of this sort.
Some means for globally identifying these parcels and applying correct parcel settings automatically would therefore be advised but at the very least policy and guidelines set for Lindens that perform related land duties so that they know how these parcels should be configured.
Additionally, Linden should respond to reports of objectionable and/or adjacent parcel infringing objects that have been created on these parcels. To date all complaints that I've lodged about such items have gone completely unaddressed and without any response from Linden. My vote comes from wanting Linden roads to be more accessable to people who want to drive them. Having them all build/short auto-return would be nice..

This would be nice if only because most of the time JIRA is unbearably slow to load and browse.

/me finds some good ones, right in her sig!! http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1287From: VWR-1287 switch() statement in scripts, please switch() statements in LSL would be quite handy, and cut down on a lot of if() statements.
Adding a switch statement to the compiler would give a reduction in bytecode. It would be X + 3 - N * 3, where X is the number of bytes of bytecode needed and N is the number of 'case' statements (excluding 'default'). This is as compared to using if-else blocks, doing a fall-into in if-else blocks would be tricky and costly.
The most tricky thing about this would be adding the break keyword.
Some samples of syntax and the appropriate bytecode are attached.
The syntax and function would be identical to C. http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-835From: SVC-835 Allow "Top Scripts on Parcel" for mainland land owners Suggestion to allow mainland land owners the ability to find scripts that are misbehaving on their land and for script writers to be able to get performance measurements without needing to be an estate manager.
