I'm not able to reproduce this. Renamed a folder just fine. It didn't get SORTED into the proper place (still under 'N' for "New"  , but it didn't disapear. |

It happened to me too.
I created a new folder. Before putting anything into it, I renamed it -- and *poof* it disappeared. And sure enough, after a search, it appeared at the right place. I'm going to bug-report it next time I'm inworld.

I've had the same issues as well.
Also, when moving an item from one folder to another (say a note card from Folder A to Folder B), there is an empty space present.
Considering purchased items now have to be manually copied to inventory rather than right-click-->open-->copy to inventory function, this makes things all the more maddening and time-consuming.
And in SL, as in RL, time is money.

Can also choose Sort and then toggle back and forth between the two options (By Name, By Date). This will bring the folder back. Yes forsome reason if you reanme an empty folder it will vanish.

It happened to both Starley and I too, I tried it a number of times and found after a relog, all the folders I tried to make that vanished, were actually there.
FUN!

Yes, if I rename an *empty* folder it disappears. This doesn't happen for non-empty folders.

switching sort didn't bring them back for me.. 8( i tried that too. they did eventual;ly turn up, when they got good and ready.
