Hi Everyone,

I was working on an avatar yesterday and I noticed something strange.

In 1.6 when you are positioning attachments and you select ruler type Local, the axis would appear relative to the parent prim.

In 1.7, when I do the same thing, the axis appears at an obscure angle that bears no relation to anything.

Wha' happen?

I'm glad you brought this up, I've been trying the same thing lately and I feel like I don't understand how the rulers are working. Can someone explain how the three rulers align with AVs and attatchments?

Avatar: In relation to the orientation to your avatar.
Local: In relation to the orientation of the object.
World: In relation to the global coordinates of a reigeon.

The first and teh last are fine and dandy though i dont think their worth much, but as for the Local I REALLY wish they would place the "orient" in the center of the parent/root prim. If nothing else atleaste make it a checkbox. This is what allowed me to do some of the best aligning and with it now in the "ture" center its nothing more then a pain in the a$$anke. It didnt used to be that way but thats how it is now :P

Hope that helps :)
